The boy returned from the war being a man.
He no longer recognizes his home; there's no one left to remember.
Cursed to wander without a soul, with the death on his back...
Tonight, tonight WE ACT LIKE ROMANS IN THE CROSS.
Now the sinners walk behind me.
With the death on his back.
The only remaining light is the hunters moon.
In the forest there're bonfires, and the cries that the wind drags him, call him, they call him ...
And a thousand hands hold him.
The black priest are chanting...
Chanting forbidden salms.
Soga ... whip, dagger ... and a hammer.
The blade reflects the fire the moon and the stars aligned.
Here under the dark sky, under the storm.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
